8 September 2006

GRD sells its remaining 25 million shares in OceanaGold Limited.

18 May 2006

GRD Limited sells 180 million shares in OceanaGold, reducing its stake to 6.9%. OceanaGold ceases to be a consolidated subsidiary.

22 December 2005

GRD acquires the economic interest managed by Hastings Funds Management in Global Renewables for $65 million payable on or before 30 June 2010.

17 December 2004

GRD NL changed its name to GRD Limited.

September 2004

The Eastern Creek UR-3R™ Facility achieves construction completion and commences initial commissioning.

20 May 2004

GRD Asia Pty Ltd was established (100% owned by GRD).

18 March 2004

Oceana Gold was listed on the ASX and NZSX.

August 2003

Global Renewables achieved the financial close of the (175,000 t/a) Eastern Creek UR-3R™ Facility.

2001

Methane Credit LLC established.

July 2000

The following name changes took place:

• Minproc Limited to GRD Minproc Limited.
• Kirfield Engineering & Construction Pty Ltd to GRD Kirfield Limited.
• Gold and Resource Development (NZ) Limited to GRD Macraes Limited.

April 2000

Minproc and Kirfield become wholly owned subsidiaries of GRD via merger (scheme of arrangement).

Global Renewables was established after a two year period of identifying technologies and UR-3R Process® flowsheet development.

June 1999

Minproc acquires remaining 50% of Kirfield.

May 1999

MMCL name change to Gold and Resource Developments (NZ) Limited.

December 1998

MMCL becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of GRD via amalgamation.

Minproc acquires 50% of Kirfield Engineering & Construction.

UGM name change to Gold and Resource Developments NL (GRD).

UGM acquires 100% of Macraes Mining Company Limited (MMCL). Main asset being the Macraes Gold Project in New Zealand .

UGM acquires 35% interest in Minproc Limited.

1987

UGM listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

The Union Gold Mining Company NL (UGM) incorporated.
