GRD is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals in accordance with the Commonwealth Privacy Act, which sets out a number of principles concerning the protection of personal information.

This statement applies to GRD Limited ('GRD') and its Australian subsidiaries in relation to the privacy of personal information of subscribers to GRD's website and information service.

Your personal information

In summary, 'personal information' is information relating to an individual which can be used to identify that individual.

Personal information held by GRD may include your email address or any other information provided by you to GRD.

Please be aware that if you choose not to provide certain personal information, for example, your e-mail address, GRD may not be able to provide the information service you request.

To whom might we disclose your personal information?

In order to fulfill our obligations to you and our clients, GRD may disclose your personal information to organisations outside of GRD.   For example, we may disclose your personal information to:

·         GRD's professional advisors, to the extent required to provide the information services to you

GRD takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

GRD takes reasonable steps to protect personal information held from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, for example by use of physical security and restricted access to electronic records.

How do we keep personal information accurate and up-to-date?

GRD endeavours to ensure that the personal information it holds is accurate, complete and up-to-date.  However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide.  Therefore, we encourage you to contact GRD in order to update any personal information we hold about you.

You may have the ability to seek access to your personal information

Subject to the exceptions set out in the Privacy Act, you may seek access to the personal information which GRD holds about you by contacting GRD's Privacy Officer, on (08) 9347 4777 or at grd@grd.com.au.

For security reasons, we require you to put your request to access your personal information in writing.  We will endeavour to provide the requested information as soon as practicable.
